How do 1-on-1 consultations work?
1-on-1 consultation with a psychologist is one of the services that users can access on Mindletic. Users can access the Consult section themselves when looking for a psychologist to talk to. Additionally, when using the emotions tracking tool on the app, if the user selects that they would like to change their emotional state, based on their reported data, they can be suggested breathing exercises, meditations, community support, or a 1-on-1 consultation with a professional.
When the user chooses to book a 1-on-1 talk with a psychologist, a list of professionals appears on the screen. The user is able to select the professional freely based on the psychologist’s profile, topics of expertise, and availability.
Once the user selects the psychologist they wish to talk to, they create a booking.
The user can select the most suitable for themselves from the Available Slots that the professional has. If no Slots are suitable or available, they had an opportunity to receive notifications about the newly opened slots.
In order to book the consultation, users must mark the checkbox confirming that they are above 18 years old and that they agree with Mindletic Terms & Conditions.
Once the meeting is confirmed, both sides receive a confirmation email with further instructions.
Availability. If your availability changes, please make sure to update it in the be.mindletic.com system. If the changes affect your upcoming bookings use the Reschedule option and reschedule the meetings. If the affected booking is due to happen in less than 18 hours let us know right away via firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling +37067338401.
Time per session. The length of the consultation should be around 50 min. Make sure you allow yourself some time in between the sessions to prepare and take a quick break. The latest a person can book a consultation is 4 hours before the start of the session, i.e. if you have an open slot at 2pm, the latest you will be informed of any new bookings is 10am.
Tips and practicalities. Once the booking is confirmed, both the client and the professional will receive an email with details and suggestions on making this experience the most valuable. Clients will be informed about the professional being in a private, safe, silent, and comfortable space during the call, so please make sure you read Mindletic guidelines before the call. Also, make sure the wifi, audio and microphone are working properly.
Pleasant experience. We want the experience to be pleasant for both the client and the professional. In order to provide instant help, we ask for little information from the one who’s booking the meeting. Please let us know if you feel uncomfortable or disrespected by any of the inquiries and in such instances - feel free to finish the talk earlier than planned. Also, please let us know (at email@example.com) the username of the person who is in your opinion using this service inappropriately.

How will it work with Mindletic?
•30min prior to the start of the consultation you will receive an email with the joining info.
•10 min before the call you will be able to access the video chatroom. You can do so by going to the Mindletic app and viewing your consultation details.
•You can also join the call via your computer's internet browser - follow the joining instructions you have received via email 30 min prior to the consultation.
•We ask you to wait at least 20 minutes from the beginning of the consultation time before leaving the room if the client doesn’t show up.
•This video meeting room is private, generated for this call only, and is shared between you and the client. Confidentiality is guaranteed.
How to prepare:
•Make sure you have a good internet connection. You may also prepare an extra connection to switch quickly in case of an emergency (like your mobile ‘personal hotspot’).
•Make sure your camera, speakers and microphone are working well (we suggest using headphones with a microphone for better sound quality).
•Choose a quiet, private place where you feel safe and comfortable.
Requirements for clients
Other functions in the Mindletic app
A person may also choose to use other functionalities for the Mindletic app that you can encourage them to use in between sessions. They can track their daily emotions, practice breathing exercises or soundscape meditations, join a community support room, and unlock other exercises as they go along. Additionally, you can send them exercises that you’d like them to complete in between sessions, share resources to check, questions to keep track of, complete surveys, etc.
